Why are roll-off dumpsters needed?
Renting a roll-off dumpster can save you time and money on your next construction job by cutting out the time wasted on trips back and forth to the landfill, giving you and your crew more time to do what you have been hired to do – the construction job. Let us handle the disposing of project debris for you. Just place debris inside the roll-off, which will be conveniently delivered to your worksite, and we will handle it from there.
Depending on the size, our roll-off dumpsters can hold between 5-7 and 12-14 pick-up truck loads full of debris, making it perfect for holding construction or landscaping materials, industrial waste, roofing shingles, frames, floors, drywall, crown molding, windows, and doors.
Dumpster Delivery
Your roll-off dumpster will be delivered to your worksite according to your reservation’s specifications. We can deliver a roll-off dumpster in as little as one day’s notice. A hard, flat surface, such as concrete, must be cleared off for our workers to place the roll-off dumpster you are renting on delivery day.
FAQs
How often are portable toilets serviced?
Portable toilets are serviced weekly but can be serviced more frequently by request for an additional charge. During each service visit, cleaning trucks will pump out any mess inside the portable toilet, sanitize the facility, and refill supplies.
How to be Best Prepared for Renting a Roll-off
Renting a dumpster is easy. Be prepared by knowing what size dumpster you need and how much room you have for a dumpster at the worksite. Don’t forget to clear off the spot where you want the dumpster to be placed ahead of time.
When should dumpsters be swapped?
Dumpsters need to be swapped before being overfilled. Keep an eye on the product’s fill line and call us to swap out your roll-off dumpster when debris gets close to the brim. Workers will be over as soon as they can to swap the product out with an empty one, bringing the full one to the landfill to properly dispose of the waste inside.
How Should I Distribute Weight Throughout the Dumpster?
Roll-off dumpsters should be loaded in a way that evenly distributes weight throughout the product. Uneven distribution can cause the weight in the container to shift during sharp turns on the way to the disposal facility, which could cause the truck taking the waste container to tip over.
Measuring Your Work Site
Make sure to measure your work site before you reserve your rental to ensure you have enough space for the roll-off dumpster size you are considering renting. Dumpsters need a hard, flat surface at least the size of its footprint for our workers to place it on your worksite. The area leading up to the space must also be cleared off. Because of the way workers unload a roll-off dumpster, we ask that customers renting a 40-yard dumpster clear off enough space at the worksite to measure twice the length of the product’s footprint.
How Do I Load A Dumpster?
Items can be walked in through the front door or lifted up and tossed in from the side. When possible, place heavier items on top of lighter ones to ensure lighter debris does not fly away.

Rules for Renting Dumpsters
1. Never use a rented roll-off dumpster to dispose of hazardous items.
Throwing hazardous items into a roll-off may result in added disposal fees. The following items are prohibited: explosives, flammable items, aerosol cans, box springs, mattresses, tires, liquid and spray paint, florescent lights, propane tanks, electronics, batteries, televisions, pesticides, herbicides, car fluids, medical waste, and animal parts.
Why? Not all debris can be disposed of the same way. Prohibiting hazardous and bulky items, which must be disposed of separately, ensures costs are kept low for customers. It is also a rule for safety reasons.
2. Never move a roll-off dumpster after it has been placed
Attempting to move a roll-off without permission may result in unintended damage to your property as well as to our dumpster.
Why? Employees are trained to properly set down and pick up a roll-off dumpster in a way that keeps your concrete and our product undamaged.
3. Do not overfill a roll-off dumpster
Attempting to move a roll-off without permission may result in unintended damage to your property as well as to our dumpster.
Why? Employees are trained to properly set down and pick up a roll-off dumpster in a way that keeps your concrete and our product undamaged.
4. Do not let anyone smoke near a roll-off dumpster.
Tell workers to take their smoke breaks somewhere else.
Why? Ash from cigarettes that are still partially lit can land in a roll-off dumpster, and if filled with debris, may cause a dumpster fire.
5. Be careful around roll-off dumpsters.
Workers should not attempt to climb on the dumpster while loading debris because they may fall into it. Children and pets should be kept away to ensure they do not get curious and attempt to climb in and fall.
Why? Dumpsters contain construction debris that can hurt someone if fallen onto.
